Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking an Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director, Billing Adjustment and Claims Management to lead the billing and claims team, drive accuracy, and uphold financial stewardship within patient care delivery.

You will oversee end-to-end bill adjustments, claims resolution, KPI development, and collaboration with internal partners to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Healthcare management or related field(s).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in claims management, billing operations or related leadership role is preferred.
• Ability to manage teams and deliver measurable performance / improvements.
• Possess strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools and performance dashboards.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership, support and guidance to the team in managing the end-to-end bill adjustment process, including the review of billing discrepancies, validation of supporting documents, and implementation of accurate corrections in the system.
• Identify process gaps, implement improvements, and drive automation and quality initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and patients’ satisfaction.
• Oversee the monitoring, processing, and resolution of claims to ensure accurate approval and timely management of rejections or discrepancies.
• Develop and implement KPIs and performance analytics framework to monitor team productivity, enhance service quality and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with internal departments / teams to ensure compliance with policies, governance requirements, and service-level agreements.
• Prepare management reports and develop data dashboards for performance review or strategic decision-making.
