Job summary

JLL Singapore is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager to support the Project & Development Services team. You will manage cost planning from tender through completion, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders on budgets and schedules, ensuring projects meet time and cost targets.

The role requires a degree or diploma and 1–2 years’ QS experience; strong MS Office skills, and proven negotiation and analytical abilities. On-site Singapore location with exposure to diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field; 1–2 years’ QS experience in interior design, D&B or contractor firms preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication/negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Tender pricing and cost estimations, sourcing quotations, cost evaluation and cost comparison.
• Prepare high level cost estimations/pre-tender estimates within short turnaround.
• Review tender documents, specifications and drawings for quantity take-off.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, owners, contractors and subcontractors on cost changes.
• Compile Bill of Quantity, tender documents/amendments and submission of bids.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate contract/sub-contract works and perform contracts administration with clients and vendors.
• Maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems; issue PO and verify supplier invoices.
• Manage procurement via JLL’s cloud-based platform; research and qualify vendors.
