ABSOLUTELY PHOBULOUS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team in Singapore. You will work closely with the Head Chef to prepare ingredients, maintain an orderly workstation, and assist in cooking and plating to our restaurant's standards.

This full-time role offers hands-on learning in a professional culinary setting, with opportunities to grow your skills, uphold food safety, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen or catering environment preferred.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain within probation.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard kitchen equipment.
• Strong time-management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift moderate weights.

Responsabilités

• Food Preparation: wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients as directed by head chefs or lead line cooks.
• Station Setup & Stocking: set up your assigned kitchen station with necessary tools and ingredients; ensure stock levels and restock as needed.
• Cooking Assistance: assist in cooking, grilling, frying, sautéing, and boiling according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Kitchen Sanitation & Hygiene: maintain cleanliness and sanitation across prep areas and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Inventory & Storage: store all food items properly, following FIFO and food safety guidelines to minimize waste.
• Collaboration: communicate clearly with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
