Job summary

Bayes Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our building projects team in Singapore. The role focuses on cost management, contract negotiation, and ensuring accurate claims and variations.

You will lead a QS team, coordinate with PMs, clients and subcontractors, and ensure timely progress and final accounts, with experience in HDB/Industrial projects. The ideal candidate holds a Degree or Diploma in Building and has at least five years of relevant

• Degree or diploma in Building or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Contract Manager or Senior QS in main-contractors.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, administration, and leading a team.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with HDB/Industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations; liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take-offs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Client/Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to prepare progress and variation claims.
• Handle contractual issues between main contractor and client, and between main contractor and sub-contractors.
• Ensure progressive claims are promptly put up to the client through accurate measurement of actual works accomplished.
• Lead the QS team to prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.

Job Requirements:
