Job summary

A1 Main Contractor is seeking an Architectural Design Coordinator in Singapore to support reporting, manage documentation, and lead a team coordinating architectural works per project specs and timelines.

You will liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors, ensure URA/BCA compliance, and supervise construction drawings. A 5-day work week and a basic salary of 6,000–9,000 SGD plus bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction or engineering consultancy.
• Knowledge of URA and BCA submission processes is important.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in preparing reports, managing documentation, and attending coordination meetings.
• Lead a team of Architectural Design Coordinators in managing and coordinating architectural works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of architectural drawings and details.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, codes of practice, and company standards.
• Plan, organise, and supervise the production of construction drawings, including shop drawing submissions and approvals.
• Provide technical support to the site team and address discrepancies or design issues encountered during construction.
• Monitor architectural progress on-site and resolve coordination issues involving structural, M&E, and ID trades.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet architectural requirements.
