Job summary

Inside Lvmh in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Accountant to uphold accurate financial records across multiple entities. You will partner with commercial, retail, AR/AP, and finance teams to maintain internal controls and support financial analysis and decision-making.

The role covers general ledger operations, regulatory compliance, and collaboration on audits, with responsibility for AR/AP duties and process improvements. Fluency in English and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
3+ years of experience in accounting or audit roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/finance systems.
Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Handle daily transactional accounting, including journal entries, postings, and GL reconciliations.
Execute month-end/period-end closes, including accruals, trial balance reviews, and variance investigations.
Maintain records for inventory, fixed assets, rent, and major operating expenses.
Prepare documentation to support audits, statutory requirements, and tax reporting.
Prepare schedules, bank reconciliations, and reports for management and monthly Group reporting.
Support AR/AP duties, cost allocations, revenue recognition, and ad-hoc process optimization projects.
