Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduate/diploma holder for a hands-on technician role. You will test assemblies, inspect parts, operate measurement equipment, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This role features rotating 12-hour day/night shifts with Saturday and Sunday team rotations.

AM shift pays $18/hour and PM shift pays $38/hour. Relevant education (Nitec/Higher Nitec/ Diploma/Degree) is welcomed; internships are

Qualifications

• Test and measurement skills used to verify assemblies and components.
• Accurate data entry of progress, expenses and labour details.
• Inspect parts for defects and contribute to process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components.
• Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details.
• Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair.
• Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes.
• Observes all safety standards and maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices.
• Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept.
• Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly.
• Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

Work Arrangements: 12 Hour rotating day and night shift

Saturday Team

12 Hours (Rotate Day & Night Shift)
8:00 - 8:15: Wed (Alternate),Thurs, Fri,Sat

Sunday Team

12 Hours (Rotate Day & Night Shift)
8:00 - 8:15: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed (Alternate)

AM Shift - $18

PM Shift - $38

Key responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant experience would be advantageous
• Relevant internship / academic background would be considered
