Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in precision electrical assembly is advantageous.
• Willingness to follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and panels per work instructions.
• Perform pre-power checks and safety verifications.
• Adjust electrical settings and configure control devices.
• Support power-on and verify voltage, rotation, and alarms.
• Carry out functional and safety interlock checks.
• Verify system operation and signal responses during tests.
• Record quality data and ensure proper handover of records.
• Identify and escalate electrical issues for corrective action.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and adherence to standard work.

Electrical Assembly & InstallationAssemble and install electrical components and systems, including:Control cabinets and panelsPower supplies, circuit breakers, and transformersMotors, sensors, switches, and safety devicesCables, connectors, terminals, and grounding pointsEnsure correct wiring, terminal crimping, labeling, and secure mounting of all electrical parts.2. Pre ‑ Power Electrical ChecksPerform electrical preparation checks before power‑on, such as:Verification of electrical components and connectionsConfirmation of protection devices and safety circuitsElectrical continuity and grounding checksEnsure all required conditions are met before energizing the system.3. Electrical Adjustment & ConfigurationCarry out electrical setting and adjustment tasks as specified in work instructions, including:Electrical protection and thermal setting adjustmentsConfiguration of control devices and input/output systemsSetting of air, hydraulic, lubrication, and cooling‑related electrical controls where applicableApply required markings after completing adjustments.4. Power ‑ On & Functional VerificationSupport initial power‑on activities and verify:Correct voltage levels and phase sequenceNormal startup behavior of electrical systemsAbsence of abnormal alarms or faultsCheck correct rotation direction and operation of motors, fans, pumps, and auxiliary devices.5. Functional & Safety Interlock ChecksPerform functional checks of:Emergency stop circuitsDoor and safety interlocksFoot switches, control switches, and indicator lampsConfirm safety systems respond correctly under normal and fault conditions.6. System Operation & Signal ConfirmationVerify correct response of electrical systems during operation, including:Axis or motor movement signalsSensor feedback and status indicationsAlarm and warning indicationsSupport basic operational testing to confirm electrical readiness.7. Quality Records & DocumentationAccurately complete electrical quality and inspection records for assigned work.Record settings, results, and pass/fail judgment clearly and completely.Ensure proper handover of records according to standard workflow requirements.8. Troubleshooting & EscalationIdentify and report electrical issues such as:Incorrect wiring or loose connectionsAbnormal alarms or signal lossIncorrect rotation, feedback errors, or sensor faultsSupport corrective actions and re‑checks before proceeding to the next stage.9.
