Job summary

SKILLSFORCE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY PTE LTD seeks an Operations Analyst to join the Trade Management team within the Investment Operations department. The role focuses on the trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, currency, derivatives and alternatives in Asia.

The position involves coordinating with traders, portfolio managers and networks to ensure effective oversight, risk management and delivery of solutions for new clients, products and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in Operations/Middle Office in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience with equities, fixed income, futures, IRS or related products.
• Strong communication, analytical and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive team player with accountability.
• Risk mindset and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and understanding of trading related activities from an Asset Management Operations perspective.
• Support industry and regulatory requirements related to trade confirmation and settlement.
• Trade confirmation and settlement across markets and products in line with internal and external cut offs.
• Trading desk support to include ad-hoc queries as well as ongoing business initiatives.
• Review existing processes to identify inefficiencies within the flows and drive process changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with the trading desks and other operation teams internally as well as brokers, custodians and vendors externally.
