Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an Associate for the Fundamental Research Group, Asia Tech (Hardware and Semiconductors) in Singapore. You will apply a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation and analysis across diverse business scenarios, delivering concise, investment-focused write-ups and insights.

You will synthesize data from multiple sources, use Python/SQL and BI tools to support research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen, including a solid understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques and macroeconomic concepts.
• Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills for moderate complexity problems in financial markets and industries.
• Expertise in traditional investment research tools, such as Excel and market data services (AlphaSense, CapIQ, FactSet).
• Effective written and oral communication with diverse associates and stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate and develop relationships to enable effective completion of objectives.
• Strong prioritization and time-management to meet deadlines.
