Job summary

Shiseido Asia Pacific Pte Ltd offers an accounting internship through the NEXT Programme in Singapore. You will support SAPAC and Shiseido Singapore accounting teams with day-to-day tasks, learning reconciliations, reporting templates, and contributing to audits and month-end close.

You will gain regional exposure, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a global beauty company with a long heritage, building practical skills for a future in accounting and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with accounting concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform reconciliations for financial year closing.
• Assist in setting the reporting templates for the new financial year.
• Involve in the financial year end audit – interact and provide supporting documentation to auditors.
• Support the accounting teams on month-end closing activities, driving faster closing.
• Work with IT team to identify system or data errors to improve data accuracy.
• Review, analyze & detect potential issues with the integrity of the data.

What You'll Do

As an Accounting Intern, you will assist the Shiseido Asia Pacific (SAPAC) and Shiseido Singapore (SS) Accounting teams on accounting responsibilities.

You will be able to learn the different processes in the Accounting function (AR) and have good exposure to different business units.

You will:

• Learn and perform reconciliations for financial year closing
