Job summary

Eco-Business is seeking an experienced Assistant News Editor (Asia) to join our regional team in Singapore. You will lead editorial and EB Studio branded content projects, craft compelling business and finance journalism, and help manage a range of formats from articles to podcasts and videos.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years newsroom experience, excellent English writing and speaking skills, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

University degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
3–5 years of journalism experience in a newsroom or reputable outlets.
Experience in the Asia Pacific region is preferred.
Strong written and verbal English; ability to write clearly and concisely.
Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Develop and pitch editorial and EB Studio branded content ideas.
Lead branded content projects, events, and program development.
Write and produce content on sustainable development topics in Asia Pacific.
Collaborate with editorial teams across platforms including articles, podcasts, videos, and features.
Manage social media content and reader engagement for brand content.
Coordinate with partnerships to align brand and editorial objectives.
