Job summary

Eco-Business is seeking an experienced Assistant News Editor (Asia) to join our regional team in Singapore. You will write, edit and curate content across multimedia platforms, shaping our editorial voice and contributing to branded content projects.

Reporting to the Leadership Team, you will lead editorial initiatives, produce and manage content, collaborate with partnerships, and help grow engagement across platforms.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of journalism experience in a newsroom or as a freelancer with published work.
• Proven track record of identifying and writing creative and original news stories and promoting them to readers and on social media.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight newsroom deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and pitch ideas and deliver a wide range of editorial and EB Studio branded content products and programmes.
• Lead branded content projects, events, and programming; contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming.
• Write and produce content on sustainability and development issues across Eco-Business platforms (written, podcasts, videos, photography, features).
• Collaborate with partnerships and editorial teams to ensure brand consistency and reader engagement.
