Job summary

J.P. Morgan, a global financial services leader, seeks an Associate for the Asia Commodities Middle Office. You will provide end-to-end trade and operational support across OTC and listed derivatives, financing products, and physical commodities, ensuring accurate risk capture and timely controls.

The role focuses on daily reconciliations, governance, incident management, and strategic process improvements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of middle office/trade support in banking.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade and operational support to Asia Trading and Sales desks.
• Perform daily reconciliations and checks for position and risk.
• Ensure controls are performed, signed off, and timely.
• Communicate with support teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Support MIS reporting, governance, and incident management.
• Engage in root-cause analysis and remediation of issues.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve processes and architecture.
• Develop understanding of trading structures from financial and physical perspectives.
• Collaborate with Operations and infrastructure for a one-team approach.
