Job summary

Infinity Global is seeking a Packaging Product Development Manager based in Singapore to lead Asia product development, sampling, and production launches, coordinating with EU/US teams and suppliers across Asia.

You will travel up to 80% across Asia to ensure timely delivery, quality, and feasibility of new packaging programs for luxury brands. The candidate will have 5+ years in packaging development, and fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, supplier management, or manufacturing within the paper packaging industry.
• Experience in packaging & luxury goods is an advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between Infinity Global's EU and US teams and manufacturing partners across Asia for new product development initiatives.
• Manage product development and sampling projects from initial concept through final approval, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality expectations.
• Partner closely with suppliers to communicate technical requirements, design intent, product construction details, and project timelines.
• Support and oversee pilot runs, production start-ups, and first production approvals to ensure manufacturing readiness and quality consistency.
• Conduct supplier visits, factory assessments, and capability audits to evaluate production processes, technical expertise, and quality systems.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives (CAPA) related to development, sampling, or production issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to strengthen supplier quality processes and conduct ongoing product and manufacturing inspections.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring visibility of development progress, risks, and production readiness.
• Identify, assess, and develop new supplier partners to support business growth and sourcing diversification strategies.
