Job summary

Job Express Services Pte Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Baker to join our on-site kitchen in Tai Seng. You will prepare and bake a variety of cakes, tarts, bread and other goods following recipes and quality standards.

The role requires 2-3 years of professional baking experience, knowledge of bread-making techniques, and the ability to start early (7am) including weekends. Salary ranges from SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,200, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of baking experience in a professional bakery.
• Knowledge of bread-making techniques and principles, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing baked items consistently.
• Ability to work efficiently in baking environment.
• Availability to work early from 7am including weekends.
• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, tarts, bread and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor baking processes to ensure quality control of baked goods.
• Perform cake decoration, including preparation of icing and toppings.
• Wash and clean utensils and equipment (e.g., ovens).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the baking area.
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to develop new products
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by department head.
