Job summary

Enertect | Battery Monitoring System in Singapore is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to implement our in-house AI Harness, an agent platform that automates finance, reporting, documents, email handling and operational analytics.

You will integrate Claude/OpenAI APIs with internal systems, design prompts and tools, and work with the team to evolve the harness into a market-ready product.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in AI or ML is mandatory.
• Singapore Citizens/PRs only.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and APIs counts.
• Interest in automating business workflows.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to implement our in-house designed Business AI Harness — an AI agent platform that automates real business workflows such as accounting, reporting, document processing, email handling and operational analytics — inside our own company first. Once proven internally, the harness will be developed into a full commercial product. You will be at the ground floor of both the implementation and the product journey.

What You Will Do

• Implement, update and extend our in-house designed AI harness — build AI agents and LLM-powered workflows for day-to-day business operations (finance, reporting, documents, communication).
• Integrate LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) with internal systems — accounting software, databases, email and web dashboards.
• Develop tools, skills and pipelines for the harness: prompt design, tool calling, structured outputs, evaluation and guardrails.
• Work directly with the internal team, gather feedback and iterate quickly.
• Help shape the internal harness into a market-ready product as it matures.

Requirements

• Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) will be considered — this is mandatory.
• Must hold a degree or certificate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) — this is mandatory.
• Fresh graduates with an AI or ML degree / certificate are welcome to apply.
• Genuine hands-on interest in LLMs — personal projects, coursework or internships using GPT/Claude APIs, agents, RAG or automation count strongly.
• Curiosity about how real businesses run — you will automate actual accounting and operations workflows.
