ZH ART PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to inspire children aged 3–16 through engaging lessons, fostering creativity in a supportive learning environment.

You will plan and deliver classes in drawing, painting and mixed media, maintain organized classrooms, and coordinate exhibitions and workshops with teachers and parents.

Excellent command of English and Mandarin is required; a Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Fine Arts or related field.
• Prior teaching experience in art education.
• Strong drawing and painting skills.
• Good classroom management.
• Willingness to work weekends.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct art classes for children aged 3–16 years to develop their artistic skills and creativity.
• Teach drawing, painting, mixed media, and other creative art techniques to enhance students’ artistic abilities.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum to ensure structured learning.
• Guide and encourage students according to their individual learning abilities to support their artistic growth.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment to promote effective learning.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents to foster a supportive community.
• Monitor students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills.
• Assist in organising and supporting exhibitions, competitions, workshops, holiday programmes, and school events to enrich students’ experiences.
• Support daily centre operations as needed to ensure smooth functioning.

Required competencies and certifications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Design, or a related field
• Prior teaching experience in art education (training provided for suitable candidates)
• Strong drawing and painting skills demonstrated through teaching or practice
• Good classroom management and communication skills to maintain an effective learning environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Creative, patient, energetic, and responsible attitude
• Willingness to work on weekends with a weekday off provided
