Job summary

Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) seeks an Art Director to lead brand and event design. You’ll develop visuals, shape brand systems, and drive projects from idea to delivery while mentoring designers and collaborating with stakeholders.

The role blends creative work with management, requiring strong craft, confidence in motion, and curiosity about new tools, including AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of key visuals, brand systems and event identities across print, digital and experiential platforms.
• Translate event themes into clear, compelling visual narratives for stages, campaigns and communications.
• Mentor and manage designers, set creative standards and guide the growth of junior team members.
• Review creative work with a critical eye and uphold brand alignment and consistency.
• Work directly with internal stakeholders and clients to present concepts and bring projects to life.
• Stay hands-on with design execution, including layouts, campaigns and motion pieces.
• Incorporate AI and generative tools into the design process to explore new creative possibilities.
• Deliver motion work with proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Build website prototypes in Figma for seamless developer handover.
• Create EDMs and webpages in CMS platforms with emphasis on usability.
• Design and refine PowerPoint decks for clear visual impact.
• Contribute to video projects from pre- to post-production.
• Apply knowledge of HTML and CSS to troubleshoot design issues.
• Manage multiple projects balancing deadlines with quality.
• Develop and evolve design systems for brand scalability across initiatives.
