Job summary

ASIAWORLD CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a site leader to supervise subcontractors and ensure on-time completion of project schedules on our Singapore sites. You will motivate the workforce, enforce standards, and resolve issues with main contractors or consultants to keep projects moving forward.

The role requires strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience coordinating subcontractors in building construction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills applied to project coordination.
• Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely completion of project schedules.
• Motivate and control workforce to perform assigned tasks effectively.
• Enforce adherence to procedures, standards, and guidelines with corrective actions.
• Verify subcontractors execute work according to shop drawings, submissions, and checklists.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with main contractors or consultants.
• Implement and monitor site safety and environmental procedures.
• Manage cost and quality control to minimize wastage and rework.
• Assist in preparing working drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.
