Job summary

LONGXIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Lead to steer the design team through large-scale, high-rise projects. You will oversee production of drawings and technical submissions, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

You will drive timely material submissions, coordinate with structural and M&E teams, and lead quality assurance and safety on site. Strong leadership and Singapore-knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture (BOA-recognized preferred).
• 6–8 years’ experience, with several years in a managerial role in a main contractor environment.
• Proven experience managing architectural works for large-scale building or high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of local authority submission processes and construction practices in Singapore.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and coordination with structural and M&E systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural team, including Design Coordinators, to ensure smooth execution of architectural works in line with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the production of construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions, ensuring timely approvals.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of architectural designs.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural and other trades to resolve interface issues and ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor site progress and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify, manage, and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and site challenges during construction.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and submission requirements.
• Support project management in reporting, documentation, and coordination meetings.
• Drive timely submission of materials, samples, and method statements in accordance with project schedules.
• Promote workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all architectural works.
