Job summary

Jacobs International Consultants Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Architect to prepare architecture layouts and 3D models compliant with IFC.SG, supporting multiple design stages.

The role involves regulatory submissions to Singapore authorities, coordinating with project teams, and responding to queries while ensuring ergonomic, operability and maintainability considerations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture with 8–10 years of Singapore-based experience.
• Proficient in 3D Revit Autodesk software, CorenetX submission, and authority calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architecture and equipment layouts in 3D, ensuring IFC.SG compliance.
• Compile and submit regulatory packages to Singapore authorities and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with project team members across disciplines to deliver integrated designs.
• Review shop drawings and provide site support, addressing queries and verifications.

Job description

Main duties:

• Prepare architecture and equipment layout in 3D model complying to IFC.SG format which forms a base for drawing extractions of building layout for various design stages, adhering to various requirements.
• Regulatory compliances: Familiar with All Singapore Authority regulatory requirement, calculations, permitting steps. Prepare Singapore Authority structural submission package and respond to the authority queries under supervision of the lead architect.
• Collaborate and communicate with project team members from various disciplines to deliver an integrated design, suitable to support the intended functions and considering ergonomic, operability and maintainability.
• Construction & technical support: conduct review of shop drawings, respond to site queries, conduct site verification

To be a successful candidate, you shall posses minimum Diploma of Architecture with 8-10 years of experience in preparing architecture layout, details and various authority submission drawings for facilities in Singapore. Candidates should be familiar and proficient in 3D Revit Autodesk software, CorenetX submission and all authorities calculations commonly applied in this field.
