Job summary

BDP ARCHITECTS (SOUTHEAST ASIA) PTE. LTD. seeks an Architectural Designer with a minimum of four years of post-graduate experience to join our Singapore team.

You will contribute to concept through construction, coordinate with specialists, and develop design proposals for local and international projects. You will produce 2D drawings and 3D visualisations, support client briefs, and ensure compliance with local codes and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate architectural experience, preferably in Singapore or the region.
  • Strong design sensibility and ability to articulate ideas through drawings, diagrams, and presentations.
  • Good working knowledge of local codes, building regulations, and authority submission processes.
  • Experience working on mixed-use, commercial, or public-sector projects is preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for documentation and coordination.
  • Strong 3D visualisation and modelling skills using tools such as SketchUp, Rhino, Stable Diffusion, Enscape or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Motivated, organised, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience or interest in BIM coordination, sustainability, or digital design tools (e.g. Grasshopper, Dynamo) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to construction.
  • Work closely with project leads and senior designers to develop innovative and contextually responsive design proposals.
  • Prepare design documentation across all project stages: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design, and Tender Documentation.
  • Coordinate architectural information with consultants and internal team members to ensure seamless integration of design.
  • Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D visualisations to communicate design intent.
  • Assist in research and development of project briefs and presentation materials.
  • Incorporate statutory requirements, authority guidelines, and technical inputs into design documentation.
  • Support site administration activities, including review of shop drawings, attending site meetings, and tracking site progress during construction.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, specifications, and contract documentation.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Contribute to marketing and competition submissions through layout, graphic design, and 3Drendering.
  • Maintain project documentation and assist in coordinating project deliverables to meet deadlines and quality standards.

We are seeking a talented and driven Architectural Designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design excellence, demonstrate initiative, and possess strong coordination and communication skills to contribute to both local and international projects.

Salary Range

S$4,800 –S$5,100 (commensurate with experience and role level)
