Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to support PM/PE in planning and executing structural and architectural works on major building projects in Singapore. The role involves leading site coordination across trades, liaising with inspectors, and ensuring work adheres to contract drawings.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Architecture and at least 3 years in building/construction, with strong coordination and procurement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree of Architecture or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in building/construction trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM/PE to plan & execute structural & architectural works.
• Lead in site coordination with all trades.
• Liaise with RTO for inspection.
• Prepare submission of shop drawings/materials/MOS.
• Check shop drawings submitted by Sub-contractors.
• Ensure work is constructed in accordance with contract and drawings.
• Coordinate with sub contractors, suppliers, etc.
• Procure and monitor architectural related materials.
• Inspect/demo/material testing/mock-ups.
• Check TOP checklist and RI (Achi).
• Attend subcon meetings.
• Contract administration and other site project matters.

• Holds the A1 grade for General Building

• Capable of handling major building projects in the public and private sectors

• Has experience in condominium and executive condominium developments

• Has undertaken HDB building projects

Our Client, a construction company specialising in building construction, property development, upgrading works and steel structural components, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Architectural Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist PM/PE to plan & execute structural & architectural works

• Lead in site coordination with all trades

• To liaise with RTO for inspection

• Prepare; submission of shop drawings/Materials/MOS

• To check shop drawings submitted by Sub-contractors

• To ensure work is construct in accordance with contract and drawings

• Liaise with sub contractors, suppliers etc

• Procurement and monitoring of Architectural related materials

• To carry out inspection/trade demo/material testing/mock-up

• To check and ensure compliance with TOP check list and RI (Achi)

• Attend subcon meetings

• Contract administration and other site operational & project management matters

• Any other works as assigned by the Management or your Superior

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree of Architecture or equivalent

• At least 3 years of experience in building/construction trade

OTHER INFORMATION

• Location : Yio Chu Kang

• Working Days/Hours : Monday to Friday (8am to 6.30pm), Saturday (8am to 2pm)

• Salary: S$5,000 higher (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
