Job summary

HKM HR MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a technical drafter to prepare and coordinate architectural shop drawings for consultant approval and construction.

The role involves liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors to secure material submissions and ensuring alignment with project drawings and specifications. You will support the Project Manager and Site Engineer in sketch design work and review shop drawings for compliance, while following IMS documentation controls and maintaining

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop detail drawings for Client/Consultants approval.
• Prepare services architectural coordination drawings and obtain approval in time for construction.
• Liaise with suppliers/sub-contractors to prepare and obtain approval for material submission.
• Prepare architectural workmethod statements.
• Liaise with Site Engineer and Consultants on design/detail requirements.
• Advise on practicality and buildability in construction details.
• Follow the Company Integrated Management System (IMS) on documentation and control of drawings with easy retrieval.
• Assist Project Manager and Site Engineer in preparing sketch design drawings for consultant approval.
• Check shop drawings submitted by Sub-Contractor/Specialist to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Interpret structural, M&E drawings in conjunction with architectural drawings and specification.
• Ensure that all Architectural works are carried out in accordance to Drawings and Specifications.
• Highlight and discuss discrepancies between drawings, specification and/or contract documents to the Site Engineers.
• Carry out site inspection with Project Manager, Site Engineer and Consultant to resolve discrepancies and details on site.
• Monitor work progress.
• Any other duties as instructed by the Management.
