Qualifications

• Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design proposals aligned with project goals and client requirements.
• Execute design development processes ensuring compliance with project specs and client expectations.
• Verify architectural work for statutory and regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Coordinate design and technical details with engineers and consultants to integrate project elements.
• Prepare detailed tender drawings and specifications for bid accuracy.
• Evaluate tender submissions for suitability and compliance with criteria.
• Conduct periodic on-site inspections to monitor construction quality.
• Administer contracts by issuing instructions, managing directions, and preparing final accounts.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural design proposals that align with project goals and client requirements to deliver effective solutions
• Execute design development processes ensuring compliance with project specifications and client expectations
• Verify architectural work for adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements to maintain legal and safety standards
• Coordinate design and technical details with engineers and specialist consultants to integrate all project elements seamlessly
• Prepare detailed tender drawings and specifications to facilitate accurate and competitive bidding processes
• Evaluate tender submissions to assess their suitability and compliance with project criteria for informed decision-making
• Conduct periodic on-site inspections to monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to design specifications
• Administer contracts by issuing instructions, managing directions, and preparing final accounts to ensure successful project completion

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Master of Architecture (M. Arch) from a BCA recognized university or institution
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and project management; ideal candidates have 6 to 9 years of experience
• Proficiency in design and drafting software, including Revit and AutoCAD, to produce precise architectural documents
• Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and project updates to stakeholders
• Familiarity with PSSCOC and SIA contracts to support contract administration and ensure compliance
