Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Architect to join our Architectural Project Management team for industrial developments in Singapore. You will assist the Senior Architect and Directors from design through to completion, including project and contract management and tenders, with potential to handle smaller projects.

Requirements include a Degree in Architecture and at least 3 years of industrial project experience in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field is required.
• At least 3 years of architectural experience in industrial projects in Singapore is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants on design, technical and code compliance matters.
• Prepare concept design, pre-final and final submissions, through to construction documents and drawings, including basic drafting.
• Maintain regular contact with external and internal project team members.
• Direct the technical team on compliance with planning and building regulations.
• Assist with coordination work, take minutes, and coordinate input/output of all parties to meet project objectives.

• Salary: Basic up to $6,000 + Bonus

• Day/timings: 5 days, Mon–Fri, 9:00AM–6:30PM

• Location: Jalan Kilang Timor, S159303 (nearest MRT: Redhill)

• Industrial projects in Singapore (example: Dormitory, Warehouse / Factory)

Company brief: Our client is an established architectural consultancy, specialising in industrial buildings. It provides architectural design, construction administration, project management and feasibility studies for factories, warehouses, industrial headquarters and industrial parks, and has completed over 500 industrial developments in Singapore.

Role Overview:

As part of the Architectural Project Management team, you will play a key role in helping the firm stay the consultancy of choice for industrial development projects. You will assist the Senior Architect and Directors in handling projects from design through to completion, including project and contract management and project tenders. You may also handle small-scale projects on your own.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with consultants on design, technical and code compliance matters

• Work with the project team to coordinate, organise and prepare concept design, pre-final and final submissions, through to construction documents and drawings, including basic drafting

• Maintain regular contact with external and internal members of the project team

• Direct the technical team on compliance with planning and building regulations

• Assist with coordination work, take minutes, and coordinate the input and output of all parties to meet project objectives

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture or a related field

• 3 years of architectural experience in industrial projects in Singapore, such as dormitories, warehouses or factories

• Able to plan and carry out building projects such as industrial developments and related facilities

• Able to liaise with clients and other consultants, with basic knowledge of authority requirements, project execution, coordination and on-site matters

• Assist with on-site inspections during construction to ensure safety, quality and compliance with design documents

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and PowerPoint
