Job summary

KYLIN CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordination Specialist to oversee design coordination, on-site monitoring, and documentation for complex construction projects.

You will review drawings, resolve conflicts with consultants and contractors, maintain records, and collaborate with MEP/structural teams to ensure targets and quality standards are met. BIM proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in construction or architectural coordination.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with BIM and coordination tools will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Identify design conflicts and liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with project design intent, specifications, and construction standards.
• Monitor progress of architectural works on-site and report any deviations or issues.
• Assist in the preparation of method statements, technical reports, and work schedules.
• Support site inspections and quality control activities to ensure workmanship standards are met.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and other project disciplines.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input when required.
• Support senior architectural staff in design optimization and value engineering initiatives.
