Job summary

East Ocean Aquatic Trading Centre in Singapore is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead daily operations at our aquarium store. You will oversee scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and profitability while collaborating with Regional Management and Marketing teams.

You will motivate staff to hit sales targets, maintain excellent customer service, assist with custom aquarium orders, and ensure store cleanliness and compliant marketing practices.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or management experience in retail.
• Strong cash reconciliation, POS operation, and basic retail metrics knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling skills with team performance management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving with a customer-first mindset.
• Interest in aquatics or aquatic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, rostering, cash handling, and SOP execution.
• Motivate staff to meet sales targets and ensure high customer service.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and shrinkage control.
• Maintain store cleanliness, layout, and local marketing/social media alignment.
