Job summary

ANTAS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Linux/Unix operations engineer to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise apps in cloud and on‑prem environments. You will troubleshoot, automate, and improve deployment pipelines across Linux, Solaris, and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes scripting, automation with Ansible, and strong collaboration with DevOps and cloud teams to ensure system reliability and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux/RHEL or Solaris experience.
• Shell scripting and CLI proficiency.
• Experience with Ansible for automation.
• AWS ECS/EC2 experience for cloud apps.
• OpenShift/Kubernetes platform experience.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding cloud infra, containers, networking, lifecycle.
• CI/CD and DevOps experience preferred.
• Banking/financial services domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise apps across Linux/Unix and cloud.

• Automate processes with Red Hat Ansible for config and deploy.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for enterprise applications deployed across Linux/Unix and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot application, system, middleware, and infrastructure issues across RHEL/Linux and Solaris platforms.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for application monitoring, automation, deployment, and operational support.
• Automate operational processes using Red Hat Ansible, including configuration management, application deployment, and environment provisioning.
• Manage and support AWS ECS and EC2 environments, including application deployment, service health monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Support applications deployed on Red Hat OpenShift, including containerized workloads, pods, deployments, routes, services, and resource troubleshooting.
• Perform application monitoring, log analysis, root‑cause analysis, incident resolution, and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent fixes.
• Support CI/CD, application release, configuration, and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor system and application performance and identify potential availability, capacity, and reliability issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, incident reports, and knowledge‑base articles.

Technical Skills / Requirements:

• Hands‑on experience with Linux/RHEL and/or Solaris operating systems.

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting and command‑line utilities.

• Practical experience with Red Hat Ansible for automation and configuration management.

• Hands‑on experience with AWS ECS and EC2 and cloud‑based application support.

• Experience supporting Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes‑based container platforms.

• Knowledge of application monitoring, troubleshooting, log analysis, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, containers, networking, deployment, and application lifecycle management.

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred.

• Banking/financial services domain experience is an advantage, particularly in blockchain, digital assets, digital asset trading, custody platforms, and trading applications/UI.
