Job summary

National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for an Application Security Engineer to strengthen security across the software delivery lifecycle, with a focus on mobile security, DevSecOps, and secure platform engineering within NUS IT.

You will contribute to building the CyberN'US mini app inside the uNivUS superapp, embed secure coding practices, and help automate security controls while collaborating with engineers, product managers, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with internship or projects in mobile app development or secure software.
• Interest in AppSec, DevSecOps, and secure platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and enhance CyberN'US mini app within the uNivUS superapp.
• Implement secure mobile features for iOS/Android with clean code.
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automate tests.
• Support container security and Kubernetes hardening.
• Maintain security monitoring and runbooks; document progress.
