Job summary

CuspAI, a frontier AI materials company, is hiring in Singapore for roles spanning computational, experimental, and data-driven materials science. You will turn partner problems into actionable plans, deliver results, and bridge between experimental and machine learning teams.

You will shape scalable workflows, validate models with experiments, and contribute to cross-cutting capabilities like data pipelines and automated experiments.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in chemistry, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on expertise in atomistic simulation or experimental materials/chemistry with automation.
• Track record in application areas (electronics, energy, environment or cross-cutting).
• Proficient in Python for data handling, analysis, automation or modelling; familiar with Git.
• Excellent ability to communicate across experimental and computational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead partner projects from scoping to delivery as a key technical contact.
• Develop and refine technical scopes with objectives, deliverables, timelines.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for partners and internal teams.
• Apply platform to partner problems using simulation, ML, data-driven optimisation, or experiments.
• Design and steer discovery campaigns, including agentic and closed-loop campaigns.
• Translate platform recommendations into executable experimental plans.
