Job summary

ASTM International’s Critical and Emerging Technologies (CET) Division is seeking an AI & Data Engineer to join the AM CoE's Market Intelligence team in Singapore. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining AI and data tools to support research and analysis, and to power AI features on the division’s digital platform.

The candidate will collaborate with experts, ensure outputs are accurate, and drive automation for intelligence deliverables, with travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building applications with large language models and AI/ML frameworks.
• Strong Python programming and experience with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and evaluation of model outputs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to meet project timelines.
• Willing to learn and adapt with emerging technologies; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI and data tools for the CET Market Intelligence team.
• Help automate the production of intelligence deliverables.
• Power AI features on the team's digital platform.
• Collaborate with technical experts to ensure outputs are accurate and reliable.
• Some travel may be required up to 20%.
