Job summary

Johnson Controls (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical support for customer quotations and development case studies in composite applications.

You will work with engineering, sales and operations to translate requirements into proposals, including cost, timing and resources. Travel with the business development team to customer facilities to discuss opportunities and design details for proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 1 year relevant experience.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• Experience with PCVue or ICONICS software.
• Interest in composite materials and manufacturing.
• Willing to learn new concepts; entry-level candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering information by creating presentations on customer proposals.
• Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints and plans.
• Conceptual design of composite components and assemblies.
• Generate CAD models for components and assemblies.
• Draft detailed bill of materials for proposals.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and operations teams.
• Knowledge of ACMV and Metasys controls is advantageous.
