Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Application Engineer (AOI / OEM Semicon) to be the technical go-to for customers and service engineers in Singapore. You will perform hands-on software testing, troubleshoot, and define system performance specifications for advanced semiconductor handler solutions.

The role requires 1–3 years in engineering, strong English communication, and willingness to travel internationally to engage with customers and teams across Singapore.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor machine equipment.
• Hands-on semiconductor device manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Troubleshoot PC hardware and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with programming languages like C++, C#, Python, or Excel macros is a plus.
• Familiarity with optical inspection equipment used in semiconductor environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Open to international travel to work with customers and across teams in Singapore.

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering discipline with 1-3 years of experiences.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor machine equipment— you know your way around the tools of the trade.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor device manufacturing and quality control processes.
• Confident in troubleshooting PC hardware and Windows operating systems—you're the person people call when things go wrong.
• It's a Plus if you have experience with programming languages like C++ or C# or Python or Excel macro — bonus points if you've built something cool!
• Familiarity with optical inspection equipment used in semiconductor environments is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken— you can explain complex ideas clearly.
• Candidates must be open to international travel to work with customers and across teams based in Singapore.
