Job summary

Optimum Solutions (Singapore) Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT professional to support application development and production support within a banking environment. The role requires 5–7 years of hands-on experience across multiple technologies and solid Linux and networking fundamentals.

Experience with API management tools is a plus, especially Axway API Management. Knowledge of PHP, Python or Java and banking industry exposure will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in computer science/engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience supporting application development and production support in a banking environment.
• Basic Linux and networking fundamentals including navigation, shell scripting, health checks and connectivity.
• Experience with API management tools; Axway API Management is a plus.
• Programming languages: PHP, Python, Java.
• Banking or financial industry experience is a plus; UOB IT exposure preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teams to resolve issues and apply on-the-job skills.

Bachelor's (or higher) degree in computer science/engineering

• Minimum 5 -7 years of experience supporting application development and production support in a banking environment (UOB preferred) with multiple technologies.
• Technical skills:
  • Basic Linux & ing, Network (must have - Navigation, Shell ing, Health check, Checking connectivity)
  • Hands on experience with API management tool (good to have experience in Axway API Management tool)
  • Other programming languages (Nice to have – PHP, Python, Java )
  • Banking or financial industry experience (Nice to have)
  • (Previous experience in UOB IT preferred)
• Track record of working with teams to resolve issues encountered for tasks and applying skills learned on the job to succeed in new assignments.
