Job summary

MetaComp Pte Ltd, a MAS-licensed digital payment provider in Singapore, seeks an API Product Manager to oversee Backbone API integrations, testing, and service-provider relationships, bridging internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable payment workflows.

You will define API requirements, map internal processes, coordinate with product and development teams, and monitor SLAs, performance, and testing coverage using Postman or Apifox.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or technology project management.
• Experience in API management and testing tools such as Postman or Apifox.
• Excellent coordination, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end API integrations for Backbone, including testing and monitoring.
• Manage relationships with external service provider technical teams for seamless integration and SLAs.
• Understand internal workflows and align requirements with product teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between product and development teams for service delivery.
• Define, prioritize, and communicate API requirements to stakeholders.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Apifox, or similar tools and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with other product teams to map provider requirements to internal processes.
• Monitor API performance, SLAs, and operational processes, addressing gaps proactively.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancements.
