Job summary

Amgen in Singapore is seeking an Engineer - Process Engineering to act as the process equipment system owner for the Chemical Synthesis API Manufacturing Facility. You will liaise across manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and automation to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements that enhance reliability and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience with equipment design, qualification and operation, as well as participation in IOQ, FAT, SAT and PSSR activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, qualification, operation, maintenance and improvement of Chemical Synthesis API process equipment.
• Strong project management and collaboration skills across multiple functions.
• Familiarity with commissioning/qualification activities (IOQ, FAT, SAT, PSSR).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Operational Excellence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as process equipment system owner for the Manufacturing Facility, ensuring safety and sustained operation.
• Lead investigations and troubleshooting of process equipment issues with cross-functional teams.
• Propose and implement corrective actions, preventive actions and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop requirements and modify equipment/facilities.
• Support design reviews, commissioning and qualification activities (IOQ, FAT, SAT, PSSR).
