Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Singapore seeks a Manager, Transportation Operations APAC to lead end-to-end transportation across Asia Pacific, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-efficient movement of products. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and external partners to drive excellence and network transformation.

Responsibilities include service continuity, risk management, freight governance, budget oversight, lane activations, and ongoing improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
• Strong experience managing international transportation operations across Asia Pacific within a global, matrixed environment.
• Experience across air, ocean, road, parcel, and multimodal transportation networks.
• Proven success managing logistics service providers, freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, 4PLs, and customs partners.
• Ability to lead complex operational issues, cross-functional initiatives, and transportation disruptions.
• Strong analytical, financial stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence across functions, lead change, and drive results in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transportation execution across APAC regional and inter-regional networks.
• Drive on-time product delivery across air, ocean, road, parcel, and multimodal modes.
• Coordinate critical shipment prioritization and recovery actions during disruptions.
• Own transportation performance, driving improvements in service, lead time, quality, and cost KPIs.
• Lead governance and performance reviews with carriers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, 4PLs, customs brokers, and Control Tower partners.
• Develop contingency plans and ensure rapid recovery while minimizing impact.
• Oversee transportation budget performance and freight spend governance.
• Identify opportunities to improve networks, standardize processes, and lead transformation programs.
