Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Transportation Operations APAC to lead end-to-end transportation across Asia Pacific. You will drive on-time delivery, coordinate critical shipments, and partner with internal teams and external providers to optimize networks and costs.

The role requires 8+ years in transportation and strong leadership within a global, matrixed organization, with expertise in air, ocean, road, and multimodal networks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related operations.
• Experience across APAC international transportation networks (air, ocean, road, parcel, multimodal).
• Proven manage­ment of logistics service providers, freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, and customs partners.
• Strong analytical, financial, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence across functions in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transportation execution across APAC regional and inter-regional networks.
• Drive on-time product delivery while managing performance across multiple modes.
• Coordinate shipment prioritization and recovery during disruptions.
• Own transportation performance and drive improvements in service, lead time, cost KPIs.
• Lead governance and performance reviews with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs.
• Develop contingency plans and ensure rapid recovery with minimal impact.
