Job summary

ING Wholesale Banking in Singapore is seeking a proactive professional to join the Trade & Commodity Finance APAC team. You will originate and manage TCF clients across Asia Pacific, structuring transactions and coordinating with product, risk, legal, and operations to execute deals.

You will collaborate with global colleagues to grow ING's wallet share across auxiliary businesses, contribute to trade digitalization, and implement regional strategies with a strong focus on prudent risk

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in financial services, preferably in the commodity sector, trade finance or related sectors.
• Commercial mindset and collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships internally and externally.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.
• Collaborative team player with a global mindset and high integrity.
• Good analytical skill with clear thought process.

Responsibilities

• Origination of new clients and management of existing TCF clients in Asia Pacific.
• Structure and execute transactions by collaborating closely with key stakeholders i.e., clients, product, risk, legal, compliance, operations among others.
• Work closely with the Transaction Management Office (TMO) and operations partners to ensure robust execution of flow trade transactions.
• Support the growth of ING's wallet share of auxiliary businesses (including Financial Markets, Transaction Services, Capital Markets & Advisory) and our trade digitalization ambitions.
• Implement ING's business strategies and policies for TCF and Asia Pacific to achieve financial and business objectives while ensuring strong adherence to prudent risk management and in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
