Job summary

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Technical Solutions Engineer to deliver comprehensive technical support for solder wire, solder paste, and sinter paste solutions across the APAC region.

You will interface with customers, Sales, Product Marketing and R&D to enable product implementation and address issues. You will lead customer-specific projects, provide training, and drive tailored solutions while supporting new product introductions and qualification efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor assembly materials and SMT/Packaging.
• Strong knowledge of die attach applications, semiconductor soldering, and failure analysis is required.
• Experience with DOE, statistical analysis, and use of design software (Minitab, JMP).
• Excellent communication, training, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for Heraeus Assembly Materials across APAC.
• Lead customer-specific technical projects and tailor solutions to requirements.
• Deliver product training and support new product introductions with Marketing and R&D.
• Coordinate complaint investigations and 8D/CAPA actions.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales technical consultations and sample builds.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, R&D, and Quality to drive customer success.
• Travel within APAC region up to 50–70% for customer sites and labs.
