Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Summer Internship in Portfolio Management for the APAC Special Situations Team, based in Singapore. The intern will assist in underwriting and sourcing transactions across APAC, gaining exposure to asset-backed and other financing opportunities and across the capital structure.

The 10-week program runs from early June to mid-August, with mentorship, access to AI-powered tools, and hands-on experience building cash-flow models and investment memos for senior portfolio managers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2027 – Jun 2028.
• Strong interest in financial markets and investment finance.
• Business proficiency in English; proficiency in Asian languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite complex investments within APAC asset finance.
• Develop and maintain cash flow models for potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos for senior portfolio managers and investment committees.
• Support financing activities and due diligence for new investments.
