Job summary

PIMCO invites a driven student to join the Special Situations Team in APAC as a Summer Intern in Singapore. The role involves underwriting and sourcing investments across APAC jurisdictions, gaining exposure to asset finance and capital structures.

You’ll work on modeling, due diligence, and investment memos throughout the 10-week program. The internship emphasizes hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, mentorship from senior leaders, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree with expected graduation dates between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Business proficiency in English; Asian language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite investments with meaningful total return opportunities in APAC Special Situations.
• Develop and maintain cash flow models for potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos for senior portfolio managers and committees.
• Assist due diligence, including business plans and coordination with legal and technical teams.
• Support financing options assessment and coordination with lenders.
