Job summary

PIMCO in Singapore is offering a 10-week Summer Internship for Account Analyst in APAC. You'll support investment professionals, gather and analyze market trends, and help deliver service to institutional clients.

You will use Excel and PowerPoint, communicate clearly, and participate in AI/tool training. The program runs June to August and includes mentorship and relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Available to start full-time in 2028 and able to relocate to APAC offices.
• Business proficient in English; additional Asian language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support analysts by gathering and analyzing market data and portfolio trends.
• Deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and clients.
• Assist with business development activities in APAC region.
• Gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and data modelling.

202 7 Summer Internship - Account Analyst, APAC

Internship opportunities are based across APAC offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Taiwan.

You are eligible to apply if you:

• Are a currently pursuing an Undergraduate/ Master's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 - June 202 8
• Must be able to begin full time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028- August 2028
• On track to achieve a minimum bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Are business proficient in English. Proficiency in any Asian languages will be a plus
• Availability to commit fully to the internship for the full program duration

You’ll excel as an Account Analyst if you:

• Show strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance.
• Possess proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Show ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Show outstanding communication skills which enable them to operate in a complex financial and mathematical environment.
• Possess a passion for process enhancement through technology enablement ( e.g. AI, programming, data modelling)
• Show the following traits: ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, high energy, self-starter, accountable , and humble .

See yourself as an Account Analyst:

You’ll serve in a dynamic role, responsible for supporting the servicing of PIMCO’s Institutional clients and/or Global Wealth Management (GWM) businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to support PIMCO’s investment professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients. During your internship, you will gather, analyze and discuss economic and market trends, evaluate portfolio structures, deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients, and support business development activities in the region.

The PIMCO Internship Experience:

The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program .

• You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools from day one, with training and resources that help build future ready skills and make an impact from the start
