Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Director of Security Operations for APAC to lead the regional security operations team, oversee contracted guard forces, and own physical and electronic security across APAC facilities.

You will manage vendor contracts, incident response, audits, and compliance with customer security specifications, reporting risks to leadership and aligning with the Global Security Operations Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in physical or corporate security, with 5+ years leading a team or multi-site program.
• Experience managing security programs in corporate, data center, law enforcement, government, or contracted security services.
• Site security audit and project management experience.
• Multi-country APAC experience with private security licensing and jurisdictional requirements.
• Experience with third-party contracts and statements of work for physical security and manned guarding.
• Ability to apply security knowledge to PCI/DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC security operations team and direct the contracted guard force.
• Own physical and electronic security across APAC facilities including access control and surveillance.
• Own end-to-end security vendor contracts from scope to renewal and performance review.
• Own regional incident response including customer notification and law enforcement engagement.
• Direct investigations into security incidents and support broader investigations.
• Support emergency response planning, drills, and activation at regional sites.
• Serve as the accountable regional authority for customer security escalations and audits.
• Ensure site compliance with customer security specs and audits for EdgeConneX security.
• Own regional operating expenses budget and conduct monthly variance reporting.
• Maintain alignment with Global Security Operations Center and security standards.
• Report regional security performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with regional operations to deliver a world-class data center security experience.
