CHUBB Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Engineer to provide professional engineering advice to the Renewable Energy underwriting team in APAC, improving profitability and supporting portfolio development.

The role involves collaboration with underwriters and interactions with clients and brokers. You will deliver timely, technically advanced engineering input on construction and operational risks for Renewable Energy power plants, aligned with CHUBB processes and best practices, across

Qualifications

Degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering preferred.
8+ years across construction and operation of renewable energy assets.
Experience designing, constructing and managing diverse tech projects.

Responsibilities

Develop desk-top reviews for risk assessment in APAC Renewable Energy sector.
Collaborate with regional engineers for peer reviews.
Conduct site visits and risk surveys of client projects and premises.
Develop and manage technology databases for renewable energy occupancies.
Identify data sources to quantify critical risk factors in renewables.
Enhance engineering knowledge to stay current with industry standards.
Communicate with clients, brokers, and insurance markets to uphold CHUBB credibility.
Foster continuous improvement and streamline workflows within the team.
Develop learning curricula for underwriters and risk engineers across APAC.
Monitor Renewable Energy sector developments and share insights with stakeholders.
