Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate in APAC Finance Projects to own the regulatory reporting modernization on Databricks.

You will translate regulatory requirements into testable deliverables, drive UAT, and manage end-to-end data lineage from Bronze to Gold, enabling regulator-ready submissions and self-service analytics through governed Genie spaces. You will partner with APAC Finance and Technology leaders to deliver strategic regulatory platforms, respond to regulatory change, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business data analytics, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of project management and/or business analysis experience within financial services.
• 3+ years delivering APAC local regulatory reporting automation for a bank.
• Experience owning a product backlog and delivery governance.
• Strong ability to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
• UAT leadership including test planning and defect triage.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks SQL and Unity Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, roadmap, outcomes, and governance for APAC regulatory reporting modernization on Databricks.
• Manage intake, prioritization, and change control; prioritize backlog epics and user stories.
• Translate regualtory circulars into clear deliverables and lead UAT with Finance and Technology.
• Define and implement Medallion reporting logic across Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Own end-to-end lineage in Unity Catalog; implement validation controls and quality gates.
• Configure Genie spaces on Gold datasets to enable self-service analytics.
• Use VS Code and Copilot to accelerate requirements extraction from regulator PDFs.
