Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager for the APAC region to lead liquidity, FX and prudential risk across the region. You will collaborate with Treasury, Financial Control, Commercial, Product and Operations to support regional expansion and regulatory reporting.

The role requires deep Treasury Markets experience, strong liquidity management, FX analytics and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of Treasury Markets / Prudential Treasury experience.
• Understanding of market and liquidity risks; FX, IR and liquidity risk experience.
• Translate Prudential Treasury requirements into implementations.
• Experience in Treasury Markets / Cash Management and FX; Bloomberg and FX ALL familiarity.
• Quantitative and analytical skills with basic modeling.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with change management and new processes.
• Attention to detail and proactivity.
• Payments industry knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks (banking or EMI/PI).
• Ability to present to senior management and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage liquidity positions for regional entities.
• Identify liquidity risks and contribute to safeguarding framework.
• Develop models, forecast and implement liquidity strategies.
• Manage day-to-day FX requirements; expand counterparties and automate flows.
• Contribute to merchant FX pricing decisions with Commercial team.
• Create daily FX and liquidity MI reports to assess P&L and liquidity.
• Execute liquidity management and FX hedging strategies; intra-group funding.
• Ensure safeguarding of merchant funds regionally.
• Document policies and procedures related to treasury activities.
• Support new product and expansion initiatives for liquidity risks.
• Engage in regulatory initiatives within treasury and liquidity space.
• Present topics at ALCO, risk management and board meetings.
