Job summary

Vitol is seeking a Regional Tax Executive to join the APAC Tax team in Singapore. You will support indirect tax compliance, tax system automation, and cross‑functional tax projects across APAC.

In this role you triage issues, work with IT to implement tax technology, and assist with tax provision, GST/VAT and transfer pricing matters for Singapore entities. Strong knowledge of APAC tax laws and prior Big 4 or MNC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of corporate tax and/or GST/VAT experience.
• Experience with tax technology solutions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Triage tax issues with APAC focus and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with IT and tax teams to translate requirements into technical tax solutions and test/implement automation.
• Assist in tax compliance, monthly provisions, and liaise with external tax consultants and authorities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of tax processes and internal controls.
